NSPIRG coordinates projects that enable students to make connections between the experience they live on campus, and the work they produce there, and the broader community in which they reside and study.
What’s more, these projects provide students with the means to impact their community through their studies and the actions they spawn.
Working groups share resources of NSPIRG, however they act autonomously. The resources and publications they produce benefit NSPIRG and our community.
Projects and campaign coalitions are managed more directly by NSPIRG and its volunteers. They seek to connect our membership with broader community issues through partnerships for organizing and action. Through NSPIRG projects and campaigns, those who are active in community action gain skills and experience, and participate in the intellectual debates and process innovations which inform organized social action.
